Stunning water features in Brisbane

Water features can be as complex and intricate as you can imagine, or as simple as a blade in a rendered block wall.

From glass walls to rain curtains and negative edges, a water feature can enhance your outdoor living space tenfold.

Project – New Farm

Norfolk Pools New Farm Project 01

With 5m of glass and a negative edge, this pool was at the forefront of design when it was built in 2007/2008. Its classy, simple finishes will keep its modern and contemporary feel for years to come.

Project – Paddington

Norfolk Pools Paddington Project 01

Built in the inner city, access and yard space was limited but the location lent itself to a pool that would become the focus of the house and create a functional space out of a backyard that was otherwise unusable. With two sides of negative edge and a beautifully tiled overflow wall, it has become an inviting area that has opened the whole yard up for entertaining in a tranquil environment.

Project – Red Hill

Norfolk Pools Red hill Project 01
This multi-level water feature adds an air of peace in this inner city property. Cascading water from the sheer descent into a feature pond with a spillway to the pool creates a soft flow of water with a beautiful backdrop. The random thickness cut granite to the curved wall creates an unusual but appealing texture and element to this design.

An infinity edge to this beautiful out of ground lap pool creates the most inviting entry to this modern Queensland house. The black and charcoal tones used to finish the pool give a sleek, contemporary and tranquil feature on entering this magnificent property.

The owners of this property decided on a slightly different style with the finishes on this pool, creating a unique and interesting look. Columns built in the corner of the pool are finished with stainless steel spouts, which add a distinctive touch.
